This presentation will highlight how the digital revolution can radically transform process/functional safety from document centric to data centric. So when one says digital transformation of process/functional what does this actually mean? First let’s clarify some terminology:

Digitalization – Using digital data to simply how you work
Digital Transformation – Adding value to every customer interaction
So this presentation will focus on how every customer interaction gets value from a data centric approach to process/functional safety. These customers includes process safety, functional safety, automation, operations, maintenance, management, capital projects, etc. In addition to creating value for customers leveraging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning will position end user to be ability to “predict” protection layer performance and ultimately manage an actionable real-time risk profile.
