2016-09-09--Training Update

Our area is the place to be for education and training opportunities.
The training you need,
from the experts you trust.

Dear All:
The Wilmington Section of the International Society of Automation is organizing a unique event for our area: an Industrial Automation Show & Conference. The full event (including the sessions listed below) will be FREE and open to the public.
The exhibition floor is open from 10 AM to 4 PM on Wednesday, October 18th.

The Mid-Atlantic region has long been home to leaders in the field of process automation, from technical experts recognized as ISA Fellows to business leaders, many of whom developed their leadership skills and professional networks through ISA. The panel sessions described above provide a unique opportunity to gain insight from and interact with leaders of the industry and ISA. Furthermore, we are organizing a District Leadership Conference in conjunction with this event (details to follow shortly).

Admission to the event is FREE and open to the public. We encourage online pre-registration at https://attendwisashow.eventbrite.com to allow your name tag to be pre-printed and waiting for your arrival. This will also ensure that you are kept up-to-date with any updates to the program. Attendees of the event will be eligible for door prizes. This is a great opportunity to network with the industrial automation community of the Mid-Atlantic. PDH certificates will be provided on request for registrants attending each session.

Best regards,

Jeff Arbogast

Dear All:

First, please remember to vote for ISA's worldwide leaders at the society level. Voting continues through September 30th.

Danaca Jordan, a Wilmington ISA member, is the candidate for VP-elect of the Professional Development Department.

As you may recall, Paul Gruhn, one of the candidates for President-elect Secretary, presented at one of our section meetings a few years ago.

I encourage you to review the candidates' positions and vote online at the ISA website.

Subject: WISA May Meeting May 30th Voyage to the Factory of the Future

We have re scheduled the May meeting to Tuesday May 30th.

Our topic will cover the Connected Enterprise IOT. We will try to get from the Abstract of the Internet of Things to some concrete examples of what you can do once you have your plant fully connected.

This should be an interesting meeting.

Hope to see you there.
